Information for Law Enforcement and Government Agencies
This page provides guidance for law enforcement and government officials seeking information about Pneumapsyche users or requesting data in connection with official investigations.
Overview
Pneumapsyche is committed to protecting our users’ privacy while cooperating with legitimate law enforcement requests. We carefully review all requests to ensure they comply with applicable laws and our policies.
Given the sensitive nature of mental health information shared on our platform, we apply heightened scrutiny to all requests and will only disclose information when legally required and when the request meets all applicable legal standards.
Types of Data Available
Depending on the legal process provided, we may be able to disclose:
Basic Subscriber Information
- Name (as provided by user)
- Email address
- Account creation date
- Last login date/time
- IP addresses used to access the account
Content and Activity Information
- Profile information
- Posts and comments
- Private messages (with appropriate legal process)
- Activity logs
- Group memberships
We do not store payment information. Users do not pay for our services, and we do not process financial transactions.
Legal Process Requirements
We require valid legal process for all requests:

All requests must:
- Be in writing on official letterhead
- Include the requesting officer’s name, badge number, and contact information
- Identify the specific account(s) subject to the request
- Specify the exact data requested
- Include valid legal process (subpoena, court order, or warrant)
- Comply with the Electronic Communications Privacy Act (ECPA) and other applicable laws
Emergency Disclosure Requests
We may voluntarily disclose information without legal process when we believe in good faith that an emergency involving danger of death or serious physical injury to any person requires disclosure without delay.
Emergency requests must:
- Be submitted via email to leo@pneumapsyche.com
- Include “EMERGENCY DISCLOSURE REQUEST” in the subject line
- Describe the nature of the emergency
- Explain why the information is needed immediately
- Identify the specific data needed
- Include direct contact information for immediate follow-up

We aim to respond to valid emergency requests within 1 hour.
Preservation Requests
Pursuant to 18 U.S.C. § 2703(f), we will preserve records for 90 days upon receipt of a valid preservation request. Extensions may be granted upon request.
Preservation requests must include:
- Identification of the account(s) to be preserved
- The specific data to be preserved
- Case number or investigation reference
- Contact information for the requesting officer
Note: A preservation request does not constitute a request for disclosure. Appropriate legal process is still required to obtain preserved data.

Response Time
- Emergency requests: Within 1 hour
- Standard requests: 10-14 business days
- Complex requests: May require additional time
User Notification Policy
Unless prohibited by law or court order, we will notify users of requests for their information before disclosure. This allows users the opportunity to seek legal counsel and, if appropriate, challenge the request.
We will not provide notice when:
- Prohibited by law or court order (e.g., 18 U.S.C. § 2705)
- In emergency situations involving risk of death or serious injury
- In cases involving child exploitation
- When notice would be counterproductive to the investigation
International Requests
We comply with valid legal process from international law enforcement through proper channels:
- Mutual Legal Assistance Treaties (MLAT)
- Letters rogatory through appropriate courts
- Direct requests where permitted by law
International requests should be directed through the U.S. Department of Justice, Office of International Affairs, or submitted directly with appropriate legal authority.
